Onoin came to us operating in one of the most visually homogeneous spaces in the grocery and food packaging category. Our task was to build a complete food brand identity from the ground up, introducing a new product while defining the visual language for a category that barely existed. The solution started with a single concept: an onion is never just an onion, it is the layer that unlocks everything else. From that idea outward, the brand identity system was built, anchored by a bold typographic wordmark for immediate shelf presence and a custom illustration system of overlapping translucent forms that depict the flavor universe that opens up the moment Onoin meets another ingredient.
The packaging design follows a single transversal system, consistent in structure across every variant with shifting illustration to signal flavor difference, built to scale without losing coherence. The e-commerce website extends that same simplicity into the digital experience, with intuitive navigation, focused product presentation, and a layered motion design system where ingredients animate onto screen and sections reveal on scroll, reinforcing the feeling of effortless cooking at every interaction.
The result is a food brand identity and web design that turned a functional shortcut into a category-defining presence.
