Rompe Coffee is a specialty coffee brand from Nayarit, Mexico, rooted in generations of coffee-growing families. With single-origin offerings like Café de Olla and Horchata, the brand blends tradition with innovation while championing authenticity, exclusivity, and fair wages for its farmers.

Rompe partnered with us for coffee brand identity, which could express their heritage in a way that felt vibrant, modern, and approachable. As a branding agency working across CPG, food, beverage, and emerging consumer brands, our goal was to create a system that honored the story behind the coffee.

Inspired by the narratives of Mexican-American generations, the identity blends cultural tradition with a playful, contemporary spirit. Bold illustrations celebrate unity, family, and the legacy of coffee cultivation passed down through generations. The elongated arms in the artwork symbolize connection—stretching from past to present; showing how craft and culture move through generations, reaching coffee lovers everywhere.

Scenes of community bring warmth to the brand: neighbors gathering, sharing stories, and enjoying a cup together. These moments reflect the heart of Rompe’s mission and help shape a brand expression that’s relatable everywhere.

Each illustrated character radiates authenticity, embodying both the enduring soul of Mexican coffee families and the pride of a new Mexican-American generation. The final identity blends heritage with modern energy, designed for strong branding for coffee brands and CPG packaging.
